ArtTrak Social Media Updates December 2012

It’s been almost two years since our intern, Courtney Brown, became the ArtTrak Social Media Expert and updated our Facebook and Twitter pages to include much of what exists on them today. Courtney has since moved on from ArtTrak and is now working at the Creative Arts Center in Dallas. However, we're we are happy to announce that we’ve hired a new social media expert, Jessica Tomberlin, to help take over from where Courtney left off in December 2010.

Jessica is a freelance writer and social media coordinator with a bachelor’s in journalism and master’s in creative writing. She is a partner of a boutique style social media company specializing in lifestyle and culture. Jessica has previously worked in fine art as a client relation’s representative and has a background in film writing, which allows her to bring her social media expertise to brands in these areas of the arts, especially, but not exclusively. Take a look at some of the changes Jessica has implemented since joining our team. Aside from updating the look of the ArtTrak Blog, Facebook and Twitter page, we’ve also added a Pinterest page and are continuing to update and connect through LinkedIn.

Some important updates to Twitter and Facebook, specifically:

• We’ve combined our three Twitter pages into one page in order to make it easier to follow us. You can find us at @ArtTrak, where we’ll tweet updates on all things ArtTrak.
•  The Facebook pages have also changed. We still have the Shango Galleries page, which includes photo albums of our current artwork in each category, but now we’ve also added an ArtTrak (add in hyperlink to the ArtTrak Facebook page) business page, which includes the previous BAACS page information. The ArtTrak page will include website updates, appraisal and art services information, as well as John’s Antiques Roadshow videos and other lectures.
